Book Your Transport
Choose your pickup and delivery dates, select open or enclosed transport, and confirm your booking with a small deposit. We lock in your price — no hidden fees or surprises later.
Prepare Your Vehicle
Remove all personal items from the interior, check tire pressure and fluid levels, and leave about a quarter tank of gas. Disable any aftermarket alarms and note any existing damage for the inspection report.
Pickup Day
Our driver arrives at your location, performs a thorough vehicle inspection with you, and documents the condition with photos. You sign the Bill of Lading (BOL) — your official transport receipt — and your vehicle is loaded.
Delivery
When your vehicle arrives, you and the driver inspect it together against the original BOL. Once you're satisfied everything looks great, sign the delivery receipt — and you're done!
Open vs Enclosed Transport
Choosing the right carrier type is one of the most common questions for first-time shippers.
Open Transport
The most popular and affordable option. Your vehicle is loaded onto a multi-car carrier — the same type of truck that delivers new cars to dealerships. Your vehicle is exposed to weather and road elements, but damage is extremely rare.

Enclosed Transport
Premium protection for high-value vehicles. Your car rides inside a fully enclosed trailer, shielded from weather, road debris, and prying eyes. Ideal for vehicles where appearance and condition are critical.

First-Time Shipper FAQ
Answers to the questions we hear most from customers shipping a vehicle for the first time.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 1-2 weeks ahead for standard routes. During peak seasons (summer and snowbird season), 3-4 weeks is ideal. Last-minute shipping is possible but availability is limited.
How much does it cost to ship a vehicle?
Pricing depends on distance, vehicle size, transport type (open vs enclosed), and season. A typical cross-country shipment runs $800-$1,500 for open transport. Get an exact quote using our free online tool or call us.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Yes. Every vehicle we transport is covered by our comprehensive cargo insurance from the moment it is loaded until delivery. You will receive proof of insurance with your booking confirmation.
Can I put personal items in my car?
You may leave a small amount of personal belongings in the trunk (up to 100 lbs, below the window line). No valuables, hazardous materials, or loose items on seats. Our insurance does not cover personal belongings.
How long does vehicle shipping take?
Transit times depend on distance. Regional moves (under 500 miles) typically take 1-3 days. Cross-country shipments average 7-10 days. We provide a delivery window at booking and keep you updated throughout.
Do I need to be present for pickup and delivery?
Someone 18 or older must be present at both pickup and delivery to sign the Bill of Lading and inspect the vehicle. If you cannot be there, you can authorize a representative to act on your behalf.
What if my car doesn't run?
We transport non-running vehicles regularly. Let us know when you request a quote so we can arrange a carrier equipped with a winch or forklift for loading. Non-running vehicles may cost slightly more due to the extra equipment needed.
How do I track my shipment?
Once your vehicle is picked up, we provide tracking updates via phone, email, or text — your choice. You will know when your vehicle is loaded, in transit, and approaching delivery. Just call us anytime for a live status update.
